Surly Long Haul Trucker on Video

Standard

Here’s the first of many upcoming videos of my Surly Long Haul Trucker as it prepares for the Long Haul for Hunger charity ride from Seoul, South Korea to Portugal.  Visit www.theultimatetrek.com for more info and make sure to donate to the Mercy Corps in our name, even just 1 dollar can secure over 11 dollars of food and supplies for starving children around the world, no joke.  Thanks.

  1. I purchased a 2010 LHT that has done nothing but flex in the fork and frame. At 18 mph downhill the bike becomes unstable and pedaling uphill the bike flexes in the rear and bottom bracket robbing me of power and making it twice as difficult to maintain a good pace. As the bike is supposed to be used for self-supported touring I find the claims that it is a great bike ludicous and false. I have about 20 #s in the front and about 50 on rear and have even removed the handlebar bag. I am wondering if you have the same problems. My bike is a 58 cm with 700c wheels.
